Tenshi no Shippo Chu! Extras

OK, here are the extras.

Tenshi no Utagoe ("The Angel's Singing Voice") with 12 songs for 12 guardian angels, NCOP, and NCED come from the DVDs.

Omakes are not available on DVDs, so I cut them from A-Flux hardsubs.

UPDATE: The content of these omakes is included as part of DVD specials for the first season. So if you have R1 DVDs or E-D or A-T rip, you already have these omakes and don't need the hardsub extracts. Thanks to DmonHiro for pointing this out.

  1. Will you be doing the DVD of s1 aswell?

  2. Actually, those Omakes are part of the DVD specials for season ONE. That's why they weren't on the DVDs for season 2.

  3. @Anon: you can s1 from E-D, I won't be redoing that.

  4. E-D...you're joking right?
Everything E-D produces is below standard, only their video quality happens to be good.
    !!!E-D CAN'T even be considered a option!!!

I'm sorry to hear you won't be redoing them, guess I'll have to wait or stick with my hardsubs.

  5. @ Anonymous: Well, there is also Anime-Takeover...

But seriously, if E-D's video quality is good enough, what's so "below standard" about them? They're DVD-rips with untouched AC3 audio, 100% softsubbed, with all dialogue, songs, and relevant signs professionally translated -- relatively localized, but no mishears or guesslations and few/no editing errors. What more do you want? Fabulous karaoke effects?

And you can always restyle the .srt subs to white Comic Sans with blue outlines if you want the same styling as ANBU.

  6. That actually sounds quite good, and considering it came from a elder like Zalis I might need to reconsider...

It just that my previous experiences with E-D are bad, translations tend to be quite good...(providing the translations on the DVD are good - which tends to vary per compagny)but lines are usually afwully timed. There a many instances of 3 liners and more and on many E-D doesn't translate all the signs or songs and their vobsubs look horrible.

Also, I don't want fab.kar.effects but I do want op and ED songs translations.

If it has all what Zalis claims then this would be the first E-D release worth downloading.

Guess I dl and see for myself. Thanks Zalis.

  7. PS: In therms of censoring and video-quality is there a big difference?(For instance are there many tits and pants uncensored on the DVD which were censored on the DVD and is the video-quality significantly better than ANBU's hardsubs)

I'm obstinate, and believe-it-or-not if there isn't a significant difference between DVD and TV releases from old times I rather stick with my hardsubs.

PSS: Another thing I don't like about E-D is there dual-audio-including when it's available.

Dubs ALWAYS suck whether they be in English,Dutch or German and they unneedly waste precious HDD-space.

  8. ED? Really?

That's probably the worst ripping group out there.
Video quality is crap and their encodes are from another age with outdated settings, they can't even do anamorphic rips.
The only thing that's good in their releases is the audio which is mostly untouched.

  9. @ Anon 10/4 and Anon 10/5:

I was going to write a response here, but it approached blog-post length. So I made a blog post about it:

Feel free to continue this conversation over there, as I don't want to keep spamming up Kaishakunin's comments.
